If we could describe the past six months in one word, it would definitely be the word 'enjoy'. Of course, the past six months have not always gone the way we would have liked, despite that it is still fantastic here in Spain. The first time in Spain took some time getting used to it all and a lot of things that had to be arranged, but in the end we got more rest and everything falls into place. We are regularly asked what we do in a day. Well that's always very different. Of course you just keep track of the daily things such as your house, garden and apartments, but besides that we regularly go out to do and discover things in Spain. This can be visiting a certain city, going to the beach, riding a motorcycle (yes there is a new motorcycle) or discovering different hiking trails in the area.  In any case, we can say that we are not bored. There is still so much we want to do. Does it still feel like a holiday? Yes, sometimes it is and that feeling is wonderful. Yet Spain has now really become our home and that feeling only makes it better.

   

In recent months we have also had a great time with family and friends who have come over from the Netherlands. It is nice to get a picture of where we actually live and what we all do. Photos and facetime is very different than when you actually see it. And yes sometimes we miss that you can't just drop by, but the days together in Spain is close and makes it extra special. In recent months we have been to the Netherlands a number of times, because there were still appointments and of course we could not miss some important bachelor parties. Yes soon to the Netherlands again for a wedding :-). The days in the Netherlands have also become different for us. These days now feel more like a kind of holiday. It's actually funny when you're thinking about it like that.

This first six months has flown by for us and we hope to stick to it for many more years. Disfruta mientras puedas!! Enjoy while you can!!
