Bike tour in the guardamar del segura area.

We are people who love nature and like to walk or cycle somewhere. Recently we cycled a nice round in the area of Guardamar del Segura near Torrevieja. Now you might be thinking, how do you get those cycling routes? You also have in Spain toeristeninformation and there are several sites where you can find routes. We regularly use the app 'Komoot'. Of course, there are many other apps that you can use for that.

A must is the route 'Laguna de La Mata'. This route can be driven from apartment 'El Raso'. This is a route of 32 km and runs through Guardamar to Rojales and Benijofar. From Benijofar you go back towards El Raso. During this route you have several highlights that are indicated by waypoints. So you cycle along the sea, natural park 'Alfonso XIII, the red bridge del rio Segura, the three crosses and you have points with really a fantastic view. Given the height differences in the route, an electric bike is recommended unless you are of course an experienced cyclist.
